Job summary

Mears Group in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee scaffold delivery on our Birmingham contract, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while coordinating with client teams.

You will lead a team of scaffolders and subcontractors, manage scheduling, inspections and equipment maintenance, and report on progress, costs and milestones, supporting training and development and upholding our values.

Qualifications

CISRS Supervisor qualification (SSSTS) or Advanced Scaffolder.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Scaffolding or equivalent.
CISRS card held.
Knowledge of TG20/SG4 and inspection standards.
Experience in scaffolding within social housing or maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

Oversee delivery of scaffolding works across planned and reactive contracts.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and TG20/SG4 standards.
Supervise a team of scaffolders and manage subcontractors as required.
Monitor progress with site visits to ensure safety, timeliness and quality.
Manage scheduling, planning and resource allocation; maintain equipment and PPE.
