Job summary

AspenTech in Reading, UK, is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead delivery of complex SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS solutions using our Digital Grid Management products. You will define architectures, drive technical decisions, and oversee design reviews and FAT/SAT with traceability to requirements.

You will guide project engineers and partners, engage with utility SMEs and project managers, ensure performance, reliability and operability targets, and promote reusable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years in utility operations/dispatch or real-time control systems.
• Experience delivering SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS; monarch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architecture definition for complex delivery projects.
• Lead FAT/SAT planning, execution, and traceability to requirements.
• Mentor engineers, drive reusable assets, and coordinate with customers and project managers.
