National Grid Interconnectors is at the forefront of delivering low carbon electricity between Great Britain and Europe. We are currently recruiting for a Lead Safety Engineer within the UJV Interconnector portfolio to work at our oldest and biggest interconnector in Sellindge, Kent.
As a Lead Safety Engineer you'll provide the highest level of Safety, Health and Environmental management including System Safety (Electricity Safety Rules/Instructions) specialism. You’ll lead on enhancing the Interconnectors operational SHE management arrangements, improvement initiatives and facilitating effective communication and the sharing of best practice with internal and external stakeholders across UJV Interconnectors.
Please note due to the onsite location of this role you will need to be able to drive and must hold a full UK driving licence.
A competitive salary between £58,929 – £74,916 dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary,you will receivea bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
