Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk management for a major Offshore Wind capital project. You will own the project risk approach, drive QCRA and QSRA analyses, and collaborate with Project Managers and the Capital Projects team to secure project outcomes.

You will influence decisions across multiple work packages, contractors, and leaders, driving mitigations and enabling the business case delivery from day one. A flexible, high-impact role within SSE Renewables.

Qualifications

Experience leading the risk management function in a major project environment.
Ability to synthesise large amounts of complex project information for senior management.
Experience running quantitative risk analysis models and presenting outputs clearly.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement consistent Risk Management standards, tools and processes.
Lead quantitative risk analysis for project contingency and schedule risk.
Identify and implement risk mitigation strategies with project teams.
Collaborate with Finance and Commercial to ensure alignment with the business case.
Summarise risk position for executive leadership and stakeholders.
