What are we looking for?

Otis is seeking a New Equipment Lead Reviewer for tender Specification and Scope analysis to join our office-based Sales Support Team. The role involves working on projects from pre-contract to delivery, analyzing operational and technical requirements of new tenders, reviewing Scope of Works (SoW) documents, vertical transportation specifications, and programme requirements. The Lead acts as a project manager pre-contract, overseeing a team of reviewers, allocating work, and ensuring quality and timely delivery according to SLAs.

1. Take accountability for assigned projects and plan team workload.
2. Analyze scope and specifications for estimation and programming.
3. Liaise with external customers, internal teams, and factories.
4. Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and suppliers as needed.
5. Ensure compliance with Otis proposals and pre-contract negotiations regarding technical and operational offerings.
6. Understand UK contracts and identify value engineering opportunities.
7. Attend project negotiation meetings.
8. Provide guidance and training to sales, support, and operations teams.
9. Adhere to company policies and maintain safety, ethics, and quality standards.
10. Respond flexibly to changing work requirements.
11. Collaborate effectively and communicate well with stakeholders.
12. Maintain attention to detail, solve problems independently, and provide effective solutions.
13. Manage people and take initiative over workload.

The ideal candidate will have experience with lift and escalator projects, knowledge of Otis products, IT literacy, and strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. A technical/engineering degree is desirable.

To be successful, you will:

• Possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Have a technical/engineering degree (desirable).
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Be driven, ambitious, hardworking, methodical, and able to work under pressure.
