Brewers Decorator Centre in Aylesbury is recruiting a Senior Retail Sales Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service and support the Branch Manager. You will help run the branch, supervise the team, handle cashing up, and drive sales through product knowledge and proactive customer engagement.

The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota. The store offers a broad range of decorating products and a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Highly motivated with the drive to succeed.
• Approachable, open and friendly personality.
• Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues to achieve high service levels.
• Enjoys working in a team but can work independently when needed.
• Keen to learn and progress within the industry.
• Ideally lives close to the store for out-of-hours calls.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with developing the branch and team.
• Provide exceptional service to customers to uphold Brewers service reputation.
• Hold keyholder responsibilities and cashing up tasks.
• Allocate work to the team and keep them motivated.
• Use product knowledge to advise customers on best products.
• Plan and agree sales forecasts with the Branch Manager.
• Ensure orders and enquiries are dealt with promptly.
• Mix paint for customers and process specialist orders.
• Build relationships to identify customer needs and provide comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandise to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.
