Universal Care Group is seeking an experienced Residential Senior Support Worker for a CQC residential home in Nuneaton. The role involves acting as a key worker, leading a staff team, and providing person-centred support to children and young people.

You will supervise shifts, maintain records, and liaise with social workers and parents as required. The ideal candidate has prior Senior/Team Leader experience and can guide staff through emergencies while ensuring safe, high-quality care in the

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior / Team Leader is essential to this role.
• Provide high quality support to Children and Young People using a person-centred approach.
• Act as a key worker for individual children where appropriate.
• Lead staffing team in dealing with emergency or complex situations.
• Maintain records of daily activities and support provided.
• Assist with risk assessments to protect health, safety and welfare.
• Liaise with Social Workers and parents as required.
• Supervise other Support Workers and manage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality support to Children and Young People based on their needs and wishes.
• Act as a key worker and guide staffing team during emergencies.
• Support activities and development in home and community settings.
• Maintain records of daily activities and care provided.
• Contribute to risk assessments and safety reviews.
• Liaise with external parties, Social workers and parents as required.
