Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Oxfordshire is seeking an ARB-registered Architect to lead residential and heritage projects. You will produce architectural drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Enscape, and manage projects from concept through to completion.

The role offers a salary of £45-50k, 23 days holiday, a company pension, and on-site parking. You will take ownership of quality, lead project teams, and collaborate closely with the studio to deliver high-quality, detailed designs.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered Architect with strong post-Part III experience.
• Portfolio showcasing high-quality design and technical ability.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD essential; experience with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Background in bespoke residential and heritage/conservation work preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A detail-oriented, proactive mindset and strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, SketchUp and/or Enscape.
• Lead projects from concept and planning through to completion.
• Take ownership of the quality of your own work with limited management oversight.
• Take the lead on projects and manage project teams as required.
• Contribute as a collaborative, engaged member of the team.
