We seek a Lead Research Scientist in the Biopolymers Team at our Ditton site. The role involves developing innovative, sustainable products for Consumer Care and Life Sciences, including carbohydrate- and protein-based products, and leading process scale-up.

• Strong foundation in chemical synthesis, expertise in natural product chemistry
• Experience with process scale-up and design for manufacturing
• Laboratory experience developing enzyme-based processes
• Team player with growth mindset
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Effective communicator, capable of building relationships
• Innovative problem solver using state-of-the-art know-how

• Suggest innovative ideas for new products
• Develop R&D pipelines as structured projects
