Job summary

Encord seeks a Research Communications Lead to steer Data Labs research and publishing. You will identify compelling topics, coordinate with the ML team, and shape results into research that advances our field.

You’ll also partner with customers on joint studies and help publish findings across channels and conferences. You’ll work closely with the research team and co-founders, experiencing end-to-end development of autonomous data systems and real-world deployment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ML research or ML engineering or technical writing.
• Public portfolio of technical writing: blog posts, papers, tutorials or podcasts.
• Proficiency in Python; able to read code, papers and experiment logs.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Labs research ideation and collaborate with the ML team on the research process.
• Partner with customers' research teams on joint research and case studies.
• Scop e, structure and draft research on embodied data collection, data curation and world models.
• Build publishing machinery: calendar, review templates, datasets and paper companions.
• Distribute every piece via X, LinkedIn, arXiv companions, newsletters and conferences.
• Measure impact and feed insights back to future publications.
