Job summary

Elgin is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for utility-scale renewable energy projects in the UK and Ireland. You will manage competitive tenders, supplier relationships and commercial negotiations from development through to delivery, ensuring governance and value for money.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Development, Legal and Finance, build market intelligence and report on procurement status to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Energy, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Significant experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial management within renewable energy/IPPs or similar.
• Experience leading competitive tenders and negotiating EPC/ICP/Equipment supply agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning and contracting strategies for assigned projects.
• Manage end-to-end tender processes for EPC, ICP, and BESS supply agreements.
• Coordinate input from Engineering, Construction, Development, Legal and Finance to support procurement decisions.
• Lead negotiations of complex, high-value EPC, ICP and BESS supply agreements.
• Produce procurement and contract status reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Build strategic relationships with tier-1 contractors and provide market intelligence.
