Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Registered Nurse to act as person in charge when required and to deliver high standards of care to residents.

You will supervise staff, assess and plan care, and keep families and GPs informed of changes. A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC registration, with at least two years in care settings.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level nursing qualification and current NMC registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in care with up-to-date knowledge.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families and GPs of changes in resident condition and involving them in care decisions.
• Supervising and deploying care team staff to ensure duties are completed during shifts.
• Providing high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
