Job summary

Avery Healthcare, Cliftonville Care Home in Northampton, seeks a warm Registered Nurse to lead and deliver high-standard resident care. You will act as person in charge when required and ensure care is provided with compassion and professionalism.

The role requires a First Level nursing qualification with current NMC registration, a minimum of 2 years’ experience, strong communication, and the ability to train and supervise care staff to follow care plans and individualized resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by post-basic studies/qualification.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observe instructions to ensure high standards of care.
• Distribute medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and chronic condition management.
• Inform families and GPs of changes in condition and involve them in ongoing care decisions.
