Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to act as person in charge when needed, ensuring high standards of care for residents at Poets Mews Care Home in Clevedon, Somerset. You will supervise care staff, administer medications, and coordinate with families and GPs on resident conditions.

Successful candidates hold a First Level qualification and current NMC registration, with at least two years' relevant experience and strong knowledge of care planning.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Undertake nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advise families and GPs of changes in condition and keep them informed in care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy care staff to ensure residents receive required care during duty.
