Job summary

Hamberley Care Homes’ Elstow Manor in Bedford is seeking a Lead Nurse to join our Nursing department. The role offers 12-hour shifts, 42 hours per week, and a salary of £25.08 per hour plus benefits.

As a nurse-led team, you\'ll provide holistic care, lead the care journey, mentor students, and work within a multi-disciplinary group in a luxurious, cared-for environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold NMC registration (RGN or RMN).
• Demonstrable post-registration experience in a similar elderly care setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion and empathy with a commitment to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care for residents in a nurse-led model.

Working Pattern: 12 hour shifts and working alternate weekends on a rota basis.

• NMC registration - Either RGN or RMN
• Demonstrable experience post registration working in a similar setting.
• Preferably would have worked within a care home or elderly setting
