Job summary

Hamberley Montague House in Brampton is seeking a Lead Nurse to help drive exceptional, person-centred care for residents. You will oversee nursing teams, coordinate holistic care, and work within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver quality outcomes.

The role requires current NMC registration (RN) and a track record of leadership in care home settings, with a focus on empathy, communication, and professional pride.

Qualifications

  • NMC registration as a nurse (RGN/RMN) and post-qualification experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a senior care setting.
  • Commitment to delivering high quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate nursing care for residents, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
  • Supervise junior staff, deliver mentorship and clinical guidance.
  • Develop care plans, liaise with multi-disciplinary team and families.

Working Pattern: 12 hour shifts and working alternate weekends on a rota basis.

We’re looking for nurses with:

  • NMC registration - Either RGN or RMN
  • Demonstrable experience post registration working in a similar setting.
  • Preferably would have worked within a care home or elderly setting
  • A commitment to delivering high quality care
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Passion & empathy with a desire to making a difference to the lives of our residents
