Job summary

Care Outlook Ltd. in Reading is seeking a Registered Manager to lead Beechwood Grove and Cornerstones, ensuring safe, person-centred care and maintaining CQC registration.

You will manage rotas, care planning, staffing and budgets, while coordinating with health professionals, social workers and families. The role offers £36,000 per year, a company mobile phone, and ongoing professional development as the service grows.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management or equivalent, or working towards it.
• At least 3 years of management experience in domiciliary care, extra care, or similar setting.
• Working knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Willingness to register with CQC as the Registered Manager for this scheme.
• Full UK driving license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scheme team, including care coordinators, senior carers, and office staff.
• Run the service day to day, covering rotas, care planning, staffing and budget.
• Ensure every resident has a person-centred care plan that reflects their choices and is reviewed regularly.
• Monitor quality through spot checks, medication audits and observations, and act on findings.
• Recruit, supervise, train and develop your team.
