Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Lead Software Engineer specializing in real-time embedded systems for defence projects in Luton. You will work with C++ and Ada on RTOS platforms, with hands-on hardware integration in lab environments and exposure to full software lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• Several years of embedded software engineering experience in aerospace/defence or safety-critical domains.
• High-integrity coding and robust software development practices (RTCA-DO-178C).
• Experience leading or influencing multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-integrity embedded software solutions for defence projects.
