Job summary

Applus+ is seeking an experienced Lead Radiographer to support critical inspection activities at Hinkley Point C in Somerset. You will oversee all radiographic work on site, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality results on a landmark nuclear project.

Key responsibilities include leading radiographic inspections, acting as Radiation Protection Supervisor, and maintaining equipment and procedures in line with IRR17 and Local Rules.

Qualifications

• PCN BRS or ARS required.
• IRR17 Medical required.
• CCNSG Safety Passport required.
• Experience in highly regulated industrial, energy, nuclear or major infrastructure environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all radiographic inspection activities on site.
• Report radiography issues and updates to the Site Manager and team.
• Act as Radiations Protection Supervisor (RPS).
• Ensure compliance with Local Rules, procedures and regulations.
• Maintain and oversee radiography equipment, darkroom and sign-in/out processes.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to radiography personnel on site.
