Job Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership within a highly specialised area.
  • Participate in departmental QA, audits, and mandatory training.
  • Develop policies and procedures as a clinical lead.
  • Support the Radiology Manager and deputise when needed.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, including students and trainees.
  • Collaborate with practitioners and other hospital departments.
  • Deliver patient-centered care with understanding and empathy.
  • Maintain excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Candidate Requirements
  • BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent).
  • Postgraduate qualification and HCPC registration.
  • Knowledge of IRMER, IRR, and ability to undertake audits.
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor training/qualification (desirable).
  • Willingness to undergo DBS disclosure.
