IC Resources is working with a client near Cambridge to recruit a Lead Radar Systems Engineer. The role blends hands-on technical work with ownership of radar architecture, project delivery and the development of radar capability.

You will work across RF, electronics, signal processing, software and systems engineering, guide technical decisions, shape proposals, mentor engineers and contribute to technology roadmaps. UK SC/UKEO clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial experience developing bespoke radar systems.
• Strong radar architecture and performance modelling expertise, with depth across pulsed radar, FMCW or SAR/radar imaging.
• Practical understanding of RF transceivers, antennas, propagation and microwave hardware.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering delivery, capturing requirements and planning verification and validation.
• Confidence explaining technical decisions to customers and developing other engineers.
