United Infrastructure Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to own the pre-construction commercial function for a portfolio of planned maintenance projects with L&Q Partnership. You will lead budgeting, cost plans, and CVR, while managing procurement and risk to maximise value.

The role requires strong leadership, Stakeholder management, and a track record in commercial delivery within construction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within pre-construction
• Strong knowledge of CVR processes, cost planning, and budget management
• Experience managing and developing commercial teams
• Skilled in commercial strategy, risk management, and financial reporting
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience within construction / cladding remediation / main contracting is highly desirable

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the pre-construction commercial function with strong governance
• Own divisional budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasting
• Manage Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) across the portfolio
• Provide financial reporting and insight to senior leadership
• Mentor and develop Assistant Quantity Surveyors and allocate resources
• Oversee procurement strategies and governance across schemes
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
• Present commercial updates to internal teams and clients
