Job summary

United Infrastructure is hiring a Lead Quantity Surveyor to own the pre-construction commercial function and lead a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors across a diverse project portfolio.

You will drive commercial governance, cost planning, CVR reporting, and budgeting, shaping procurement strategy and value engineering to protect margins and cost certainty through the pre-construction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with CVR, cost planning, and budgeting essential.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a commercial team.
• Strong governance, reporting, and financial insight for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-construction commercial function across multiple projects.
• Own budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasting for division.
• Manage and mentor a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
• Develop value engineering and cost optimisation strategies with design teams.
• Oversee procurement strategies and early supplier engagement.
• Identify and report commercial risks and opportunities with robust contingencies.
• Present commercial positions to senior stakeholders and clients.
