PSR Solutions is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a high-profile £60m landmark education project in Sheffield. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and project team to control costs, manage budgets and forecast financial performance.

The role requires main contractor experience, strong contractual knowledge and the ability to lead procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages.

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale construction projects, preferably education or commercial schemes.
• Commercially astute with strong contractual knowledge and cost awareness.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and supply-chain partners effectively.

Responsabilités

• Oversee commercial management of allocated packages on a £60m landmark project.
• Manage project costs, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Lead procurement and commercial management of subcontractor and supplier packages.
• Prepare tender enquiries, analyse returns and make procurement recommendations.
• Negotiate subcontract packages and supplier agreements to achieve best value.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Identify and manage variations and commercial opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely issue of contractual notices and commercial correspondence.
