Job summary

Smart 4 EPC in Blyth, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP/CSA) to join our project team on a major data centre scheme. You will manage commercial aspects, control costs, and ensure value delivery in line with project objectives.

The role involves budgets, forecasts, procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, interim payments, and final accounts, working closely with Project Managers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 8+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in construction.
• Strong track record in cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects, including data centre or mission-critical work.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and final accounts.
• Lead procurement, subcontractor selection, tendering and contract negotiations.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and interim payments.
• Monitor costs and risks, provide commercial advice to the project team.
