Job summary

TSL is seeking a hands-on Quantity Surveyor to own commercial aspects of industrial and data-centre projects. You will lead packages, track costs, and produce senior-level reports within a fast-paced environment.

You will work independently with strong support from an experienced team, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery across multiple packages valued at £5 million or more.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction sectors, industrial works or data centres.
• Led packages or projects with appropriate support.
• Strong cost-tracking and reporting capability.
• Ability to manage multiple live workstreams and adapt to changing demands.
• Experience with packages valued at £5 million+ is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial responsibilities across one or multiple project packages.
• Support cost planning, procurement, valuations, variations, forecasting, and final accounts.
• Track project costs, commitments, risks, and changes accurately.
• Produce clear, timely commercial reports for project and senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain commercial control.
• Manage packages typically valued at £5 million or more.
• Balance competing priorities across a busy portfolio of work while maintaining strong attention to detail.
