Harrington Starr is helping an London-based leader in B2B sports betting technology recruit a Senior Quantitative Analyst. You will develop and refine pricing and trading models, covering ~20 sports, and influence pricing decisions.

The role combines quantitative modelling with sports trading, enabling direct impact on trading strategies while collaborating with data engineering and stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a quantitative role with real modelling work.
• Strong C# and Python skills.
• Solid grounding in statistical and machine learning modelling techniques.
• A genuine interest in sport and ability to explain complex work to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in sports betting or related data domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing and refining models that predict match outcomes across multiple sports.
• Building player performance models to open up new betting markets.
• Designing risk management models to help control exposure.
• Contributing to new products, including derivatives and micro-markets.
• Working closely with data engineering to support and improve model development.
• Communicating model methodology clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
