Galaxy Digital Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join our Crypto trading desk in London. You will design, implement, and optimize market-making and quantitative trading strategies, collaborating with traders, quants, and other developers.

The role requires strong software development and finance knowledge, with emphasis on FX and Crypto markets, DeFi platforms, and real-time data processing. Opportunity to work with AI-enabled tooling and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in algorithmic trading environments using Java.
• Knowledge of tick data analytics and real-time market data processing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based market access or hybrid deployments.
• Proven experience developing and implementing quantitative models and trading algorithms.
• Strong Java programming skills.
• Experience with high-frequency/low-latency trading systems.
• Experience on FX or Cryptocurrency trading desks.
• Experience integrating strategies on DeFi platforms (SOL/ETH).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and models for Crypto markets.
• Collaborate with traders and quants to translate trading strategies into efficient code.
• Optimize trading systems for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Integrate new data sources and ensure data integrity for model inputs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live trading systems to minimize downtime.
• Stay updated with advances in quantitative finance and Crypto markets.
• Contribute to improving development processes and tools.
• Support thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making and output quality.
