Job summary

Safran Seats in the UK (Cwmbran, Wales) seeks a Quality Engineer Lead to assure product quality across the lifecycle. You will support lifecycle QA, oversee manufacturing processes, and ensure adherence to quality systems and procedures.

You will lead Quality Engineers and Technicians, drive corrective actions, audits, and the validation process while collaborating with senior management and suppliers to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience using QA tools such as APQP, PPAP, Control Plans and FMEA.
• Strong engineering/quality background in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace/Defence/Automotive).
• Ability to lead others and manage quality activities across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define quality objectives with senior managers.
• Lead and develop Quality Engineers and Technicians.
• Assign workload and oversee area support and activities.
