Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems UK in Wolverhampton is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality performance across a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring aerospace quality standards are met and driving continuous improvements. You will lead supplier development, containment and problem-solving activities, and support audits and compliance across the supply chain.

The successful candidate will work closely with Quality, Engineering and Operations teams, travel for onsite supplier

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve production quality issues.
• Excellent people skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor Training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance and drive improvement plans to reduce defects.
• Lead containment and root-cause investigations for supplier issues.
• Conduct supplier audits per AS9100 and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers; report KPI and CAPA progress.
