Lead QA / Test Manager at Nuffield Health, Epsom & Barbican (Hybrid, one day a week)

Contract Details

Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover, 12 months from August 2025 to July 2026), Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week

Role Overview

We seek an enthusiastic and experienced Lead QA / Test Manager to lead QA and testing efforts in healthcare technology domains, including:

• Secondary care systems
• Electronic Patient Records (EPR)
• Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• PACS/RIS (Imaging and Radiology Systems)

Your work will influence patient care quality and staff tools.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Healthcare domain experience: Secondary, Diagnostics, EPR, LIMS, PACS & RIS
• Proven QA/testing expertise and leadership
• Line management, mentoring, and coaching QA teams
• Recruitment experience for QA roles
• Matrix management of cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement
• Capacity and priority management in ambiguous environments
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, performance
• Test strategy documentation and communication
• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Desirable Skills

• HL7 messaging knowledge
• Test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies
• QA metrics monitoring and reporting
• Healthcare compliance standards knowledge
• Experience with overseas partners
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• AI-driven testing experience
