We are currently working with an exciting startup enhancing accessibility for Deaf individuals who use sign language by translating written and digital content into their preferred language. This mission is driven by a shared belief in the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and automated workflows to support translators.

Role Overview: As the Lead Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of our platform. You will oversee the technical architecture, build and lead a team of developers, and ensure that our solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with our mission. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical leadership position and is passionate about building impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, robust, and secure backend systems using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and drive product innovation.
• Oversee and contribute to the development of APIs, microservices, and integrations for seamless functionality.
• Mentor and manage a team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Ensure the platform’s reliability by implementing best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical challenges, and architectural concerns.
