Job summary

JPMorganChase, within the Commercial & Investment Bank’s Markets Technology, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive real-time marking, pricing, and market data platforms for the Rates Nonlinear franchise in the EMEA region.

You will lead design and delivery, partner with front office traders and quantitative research, and promote secure, scalable engineering practices across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools with standards for validation, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions with focus on real-time marking, pricing, and market data for the Rates Nonlinear desk.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others’ work.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and resiliency.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to improve value through automation and governance.
• Identifies automation opportunities to improve stability and reliability of software applications.
• Owns the technology agenda for the EMEA region, partnering with front office traders and quantitative research.
