JPMorganChase seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build and operate low-latency Python services for Rates Live Risk & P&L. You will own delivery end-to-end, including production support, and partner closely with front-office stakeholders to ship changes quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development with production-quality code and testing.
• Experience building/operating production services including incident troubleshooting.
• Practical SDLC discipline across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Experience with CI/CD and observability to keep services stable.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Python services and applications powering live Rates risk and P&L with focus on low latency.
• Partner with traders and risk managers to translate time-sensitive requirements into reliable solutions.
• Own production services end-to-end, including releases, monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot issues across distributed components and data flows; drive fixes to reduce recurrence.
• Improve DevOps and operational readiness, including CI/CD, environment management, and automation.
• Maintain engineering standards through code reviews, testing discipline, and documentation/runbooks.
