• HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist
• Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists or other junior practitioners
• Strong understanding of therapeutic residential childcare, developmental trauma, and attachment
• Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary and multi-agency contexts
• Excellent communication, formulation, and report-writing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological leadership across Curo Salus, supporting the development of therapeutic trauma-informed and attachment-based practice
• Offer regular supervision, guidance, and reflective space to four Assistant Psychologists
• Contribute to psychological assessments, formulations, and intervention planning
• Provide consultation and advice to residential childcare teams and education staff
• Support staff development through training, reflective practice, and professional guidance
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including social work and placing authorities
• Enhance the coherence of our therapeutic approach

We are seeking a Lead Psychologist to provide psychological leadership across our organisation.

This is a senior role requiring strong professional judgement, reflective practice, and a deep understanding of the needs of children and young people in residential care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of four Assistant Psychologists, ensuring high‑quality psychological input across our homes and education settings. You will work closely with residential teams, education staff, and external agencies to promote trauma‑informed, attachment‑aware practice.
