Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Service Manager Transactions to oversee acquisitions, disposals and development negotiations across the Council's property portfolio. You will work with internal services and external partners to ensure transactions are delivered efficiently, compliantly and in line with strategic objectives.

The role requires significant property experience, strong leadership and excellent stakeholder management, with MRICS/FRICS or equivalent essential.

• Significant experience in a property, estates or asset management environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with a public service ethos.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a complex organisation.
