Job summary

GE Vernova in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Project Planner to own planning and schedule control across complex EPC/turnkey electrical transmission projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers, engineering teams and external partners to establish robust baselines and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a strong Primavera P6 track record, substations knowledge and the confidence to challenge and influence across a multi-disciplinary organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in project planning and schedule management.
• Ability to influence and coordinate across multiple functions.
• Experience with EPC/turnkey projects and complex schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and baselines with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update project schedules, including resource forecasts.
• Identify prerequisites, interfaces and blockers and address them proactively.
• Monitor progress, forecast realistic delivery and implement recovery plans.
• Provide schedule analysis and reporting for management reviews.
