Job summary

Argus Fire, part of the Mitie Group, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial sprinkler installations in London. You will manage site surveys, procurement, cost control, and client liaison on complex fire protection contracts.

The role requires at least 10 years of PM experience in sprinkler projects, CSCS card, and strong knowledge of BS EN12845 and related standards. A proactive, hands-on approach and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience as Project Manager of commercial sprinkler installations.
• CSCS card holder.
• Strong procurement and cost control skills.
• Background in commercial sprinkler contracts, wet and dry riser systems.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and similar project management software.
• Understanding of sprinkler standards BS EN12845, LPC Rules & BS9990.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys and assessments for sprinkler installations.
• Procurement of labour, equipment and fabrication.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and site managers.
• Control project costs in partnership with Ops Manager and Director.
• Maintain installation progress records and schedules.
• Keep site records and diary of operatives.
• Ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
• Assist with testing and commissioning.
