The Opportunity

Our Advisory business is looking for an experienced Lead Project Manager to join our growing program, project and commercial management team. With offices in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester, you can decide which office to work from on a hybrid basis. We are looking for someone who would help support major project delivery and business development activities for our key clients in the infrastructure markets. You will lead the management and oversight of all aspects of project and program delivery, representing Arup as the day-to-day project manager on a diverse range of projects.

Is this role right for you?

As a Lead Project Manager you will support team leaders on a range of business development activities including developing client relationships and preparation of bids, supporting the development of new service offerings. Working as part of a team to deliver commissions, in full compliance with Arup Management System requirements and/or Client platforms. This will include integration and management of multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality output for our clients. You will also mentor and support the development of junior colleagues on the team.

Requirements:

  • BSc in engineering, architecture or construction management (or similar).
  • Professional Certification such as APM/Prince 2 in the PPM environment.
  • A well established background in project/programme management in the built environment with a focus on infrastructure.
  • Experience in procurement of design and construction contracts on behalf of external clients is an advantage.
