Job summary

Xylem is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the successful delivery of complex pumping and temporary works projects across the UK water sector. You will work with Tier 1 contractors and major utility clients, taking ownership from handover through mobilisation, installation and demobilisation.

This role interfaces with engineering, operations, commercial teams and customers to ensure safe, on-time and within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure, utility or temporary works projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors and utility companies.
• Strong planning, coordination and multi-stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Knowledge of RAMS, CDM principles and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of pump rental, bypass pumping and temporary works projects from award to completion.
• Coordinate with customers, operations, engineering, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop programmes, resources and delivery schedules.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and implement mitigation to meet budgets.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and manage close-out.
