Job summary

Abbott in Witney is seeking a Project Engineer to lead validation of bespoke automated machines and integrate them with our production lines. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and become the technical voice in validation strategy, with occasional supplier site visits.

You'll build project plans, manage risks, deliver validated equipment to Production, and mentor others while upholding regulated manufacturing standards that deliver high-quality biosensor devices.

Qualifications

• HNC in Engineering, degree preferred.
• Experience in Project Engineering with automated machinery.
• Strong documentation discipline and project management.

Responsibilities

• Create a project plan to deliver work with timelines, risk assessment and stakeholder communication.
• Be aware of changes and the benefits they deliver to the business.
• Deliver validated machines into Production and test them to validate performance.
• Lead on managing projects, develop validation tests, and execute equipment validations.
• Occasionally visit supplier sites as part of project execution.
