Job summary

PE Global is seeking a Project Lead Engineer on a full-time basis in Leeds, West Yorkshire. You will oversee large offshore projects from concept to delivery, coordinating internal teams and liaising with clients to ensure successful execution.

The role focuses on top-level design, documentation, and rigorous reviews, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, offshore oil/gas experience, and proven leadership in project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience in offshore oil/gas engineering solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large projects from $5M to $200M with 12–24 month durations.
• Lead engineering projects through execution and liaise with clients.
• Own top-level design, documentation, testing procedures and manuals.
• Lead internal and external design reviews.
• Provide regular status updates to Engineering Management.
• Support the project through build and testing phases.
• Review specifications and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety guidelines.
