Leonardo in the United Kingdom seeks a Project Chief Engineer to lead the development of LDEW Beam Director products, ensuring design standards, technical delivery, and customer satisfaction across the lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership across engineering domains, robust problem solving, and experience directing complex design reviews and certification processes. Hybrid working options are available within the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical leadership across all phases of the Engineering lifecycle.
• Extensive experience in more than one engineering domain with proven customer delivery.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define customer requirements and ensure they are fully met.
• Ensure designs are efficient, manufacturable, safe, robust, and fit their environments.
• Act as primary technical point-of-contact for external customers and Business Winning activities.
• Capture and record rationale and analyses for major design decisions.
• Ensure KPI tracking quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee design reviews and test strategy quality and coverage.
