Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record supervising shopfloor operations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S or Continuous Improvement techniques is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Lead, motivate and develop production teams through coaching, training, performance management and regular feedback.
• Allocate workloads and set priorities to meet production targets and KPIs.
• Monitor production performance and implement improvements to minimise downtime and boost efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of quality, process compliance and health & safety performance across the department.
• Support production planning and continuous improvement initiatives with the Manufacturing Manager.
• Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
• Encourage a positive team culture through effective communication and accountability.
