Job summary

DRPG is seeking an experienced events production leader to coordinate technical delivery across conferences, concerts and hospitality experiences. You will manage crews, budgets and client relations, ensuring high standards of production and compliance with safety protocols.

The role is based primarily in our Hartlebury office with travel to UK and overseas as required. A proactive, flexible self-starter with strong CAD skills will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in technical delivery for events.
• Experience with conferences, concerts, hospitality events and consumer activations.
• Streaming and broadcast knowledge.
• Strong production process understanding and resource/timescales.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• CAD drawings reading/interpretation.
• Outstanding customer service levels.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front and motivate and support your team, ensuring staff work in accordance with procedures and legislation.
• Working to a budget set by the client and ensuring all financial matters are managed and recorded.
• Pro-active management of staffing levels on an event-by-event basis to meet targets and production standards.
• Ensure adequate and appropriate technical support is provided before, during and after events.
• Line manage the team of technical staff, directing permanent, freelance and casual crew.
• Attend site visits and production meetings as required.
• Work with Health and Safety to ensure risk assessments for events.
• Assist in costing and production of client proposals.
• Act as client liaison and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assess future event technical requirements for cost and venue compatibility.
• Coordinate lighting, sound, video, set and staging, electrical infra, comms and AV tech.
• Complete reconciliation for all event spend and expenses.
• Ensure events run in line with Premises Licence regulations.
• Liaise with licensing and safety officials and obtain permissions as needed.
• Promote DRPG’s equal opportunities policy in service delivery.
• Research new technologies to be incorporated into live projects.
