Job summary

Edurio in Coventry, UK, is hiring a Lead Product Manager to shape our survey software and guide the product team as we grow from one product to multiple.

You will own end-to-end product decisions, prioritise what to build, and ensure our work ships with real impact for schools, parents, pupils and staff.

Reporting to the Director of Product and Service, you’ll work with Claude, Notion, Linear, and Material Design to set standards and drive multi-product expansion.

Job description

At other companies this role is often called a Group Product Manager or a Product Lead.

Edurio is on its way to improving education quality globally and we’re looking for great people to join us on the journey.

We help schools and school groups survey their parents, pupils, and staff to build organisations where people thrive. We currently work with over 2000 schools in the United Kingdom and Latvia and are planning to grow significantly in the next year.

As a Lead Product Manager, you will shape what gets built on our survey software and in what order. You will lead the product team as we go from one product to more.

The product team and how we work:

You would join a product team of four, including you: two Product Managers and a Data Quality and Analytics Engineer. Development is a separate team of seven.

Our Product Managers each take whichever problems matter most at that time. Somebody works on results and reporting for some time, then on survey filling, so the team understands the whole product rather than defending a corner of it.

The product team is responsible for the whole product: the software, the survey content, the benchmarked question sets, and what the results mean. You will build prototypes, design screens, and write copy.

You would be working with Claude, Notion, Linear, the Material Design framework, and other tools of your choice.

This role is being created because we are expanding, and the Director of Product is becoming responsible for product, service, and support. We are building Edurio HUB as a second product and becoming a multi-product company. You would start in the survey product team, and should expect the scope to grow as that happens.

You report to the Director of Product and Service. The Director owns the product strategy, how much development capacity the product team gets, and the combination of product and service we offer clients.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead two Product Managers and our Data Quality and Analytics Engineer

• Decide which problems the survey software takes on and in what order, and what we will not do

• Make sure what we ship actually gets used

• Work with our Data Quality and Analytics Engineer so that clients can rely on the numbers we report, in the platform and in reports

• Set the design and copywriting standards both our products are built to

• Set how the product team works, and make AI and agents the normal way product and data work gets done

• Keep doing product work yourself. This role does not mean you stop making things

What we’re looking for:

• Experience owning a software product end to end, including deciding what not to build

• Experience managing or coaching product managers, or a clear reason why you are ready to start

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• You already use AI and coding agents in your own work, and can tell us what that changed about how you work

• Comfort making a call before the evidence is complete, and explaining the reasoning afterwards

Useful, but we do not expect all of these:

• Experience or interest in the education sector, preferably in the UK or another English-speaking country

• Experience with survey design or research methods

• Enough comfort with data models and transformations to review our data engineer's work. We will agree with you how much of this the role needs

This is probably not for you if:

• you want to own one area of the product and go deep on it

• you want a settled product and a scope that will not change

• you would rather set direction than build

• Gross salary range: depending on experience €3,500-5,500 per month if based in Latvia or £45,000-65,000 per annum if based in England, as well as company share options, paid phone plan, and health insurance.
