Job summary

Monzo is seeking a designer to shape web experiences at scale, combining strong visual and interaction craft with a data-informed mindset. You will work in a Growth-focused role, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data and Research to turn customer problems into measurable improvements.

You’ll be part of a design team focused on growth and user-centric journeys, with opportunities to experiment, learn, and advance the Monzo brand through high-impact projects across UK markets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of designing high-quality web experiences.
• Comfortable using data to inform design decisions.
• Ability to connect customer experiences with measurable outcomes.
• Able to form hypotheses and run experiments.
• Collaborative with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high-quality web experiences that drive customer and commercial outcomes.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
• Translate problems into clear hypotheses and run experiments to validate solutions.
• Contribute exceptional visual and interaction craft across web experiences.
• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in design solutions.
• Define product visions and direction for long-term customer experience.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research throughout the design process.
• Apply AI to enhance design workflows, ideation, analysis, or prototyping.
• Mentor peers and contribute to the growth of the Design team.
• Advocate for Monzo’s mission to make money work for everyone.
