Job summary

Wise is seeking a Lead Product Analyst to partner with product, engineering, risk and compliance teams to drive data-driven decisions for scaling risk controls across products. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance across product streams and building guardrails for secure, compliant transactions globally.

You’ll scale risk data infrastructure, define control metrics, and collaborate with regional teams to monitor risk and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a relevant role
• Strong analytical mind and product intuition in banking/financial industry
• Technical skill-set in Python, advanced SQL, BI tools
• Experience working with technical teams (PMs, engineers, analysts)
• Data-driven approach in complex environments with limited guidance
• Understanding of events data - Mixpanel / GA / Amplitude or similar
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, translating data into narratives
• Hustler-mentality: able to go beyond analysis and get things done

Responsibilities

• Scale and improve risk data infrastructure for regional teams
• Build metrics to monitor controls and support testing processes
• Establish control efficiency frameworks to reduce risk without hindering growth
• Partner with product, engineering, product risk, compliance and other stakeholders to influence decisions with data
• Collaborate with FinCrime to monitor local risk typologies within global risk engines
