Job Summary

• Salary: £45,000 - £49,000
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London is looking to recruit a Lead Procurement Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team, with a salary of up to £49,000. The post holder will support the delivery of the Cleveland Clinic London (CCL) Medicines Optimisation mission of providing safe, effective, high quality, and efficient pharmaceutical care by optimising medicines safety and patient outcomes.

This is a Monday – Friday role, 9 – 5, with flexibility for extra hours and weekend work.

What will your duties include?

• Lead, organise, and manage the Procurement and Purchasing service.
• Manage pharmacy procurement using Epic and GHX systems to ensure adequate stock of pharmaceuticals.
• Handle alerts and recalls of medicines throughout the hospital.
• Maintain and develop high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services in collaboration with clinical and patient services staff.
• Assist in the day-to-day operation of the dispensary and support senior staff when required.

What we need from you?

• NVQ Level 3 (or recognized equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services or similar.
• Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
• Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Extensive experience in Hospital Pharmacy Procurement.
• Experience with PowerGate or GHX platforms is desirable.
• Experience working in a busy dispensary department.
