Job summary

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Lead Procurement Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team, offering a salary of up to £49,000.

The role involves supporting the Cleveland Clinic London Medicines Optimisation mission by ensuring safe, effective, high-quality pharmaceutical care through optimized medicines safety and patient outcomes.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 9 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for extra hours and weekend work.

Main duties of the job
  1. Lead, organize, and manage the Procurement and Purchasing service.
  2. Handle day-to-day pharmacy procurement using Epic and GHX systems to maintain adequate stock levels.
  3. Manage alerts and recalls of medicines across the hospital.
  4. Develop and maintain high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services in collaboration with clinical and patient services staff.
  5. Assist in the efficient daily operation of the dispensary and support senior staff as needed.

Job responsibilities

What will your duties include?

  • Lead, organize, and manage the Procurement and Purchasing service.

What we need from you?
  • NVQ Level 3 (or recognized equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services or similar.
  • Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
  • Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Extensive experience in Hospital Pharmacy Procurement.
  • Experience with PowerGate or similar GHX platforms (Desirable).
  • Experience working in a busy dispensary department.
Person Specification

Qualifications (Essential):

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Services.
  • Mandatory CPD.
  • Full GPhC registration.

Experience (Essential):

  • Extensive hospital pharmacy procurement experience.
  • Experience in a busy dispensary.

Experience (Desirable):
